ADVERSE DRUG REACTIONS PATTERN IN OUTPATIENTS AND INPATIENTS OF A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL FROM NORTHERN INDIA

Aim: Adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting and monitoring activities are of vital importance for patient safety. It is a predominant ubiquitous preventable clinical issue. This study was conducted to assess the ADR in various departments. Methods: Standard forms were filled up by healthcare workers patients from January 2020 December 2021 different The causality appraisal ADRs finished utilizing WHO-UMC evaluation scale. Seriousness recognized evaluated at levels, going somewhere range 1–7 altered Hartwig-Siegel Scale. Results: frequency higher among females (60.4%) when contrasted with guys (39.6%). cases showed that 85.7% “likely” 51.2% sorted as “moderate” on seriousness ADRs. further examination 36.4% (79/217) “medical admissions due ADR” 63.6% (138/217) “ADRs happened hospitalized patients.” Conclusion: finds frequent this health center showing emergency clinic would give an understanding into example tertiary medical services place may assist expanding mindfulness additional pharmacovigilance studies.
